Can Russian women visit me in the U.S.?

Question: Can Russian women visit me in the U.S.? It seems like if they are the ones that are able to take a lot of time off of work (if they even have jobs), and if I am very limited in my time off, then it would be better if they visited me here in the U.S.

Bob's Answer: Although some Russian women seem more able than others to get tourist visas to the U.S., it is actually very rare for Russian women to be allowed to enter the U.S. unless it is through the "Fiance' Visa" with the intention of marrying you.

And even if you wished to fly your sweetie to some neutral third country where you could spend some time together without you needing to travel all the way to Russia or Ukraine, the fact is that most places you would likely choose also do not allow Russians/Ukrainians. For instance, Americans find places like Cancun and Cozumel good vacation spots. But Russians are not usually allowed in Mexico.

Russians are usually granted permission to visit Cuba, but most Americans are not.

Some Russian women understand these issues, so they might suggest meeting in Dominican Republic, Egypt, or Turkey. These are all popular Russian vacation places.

But the simplest solution is for you to visit them in their home city/country.

If you start going for these tropical vacation options, it will be harder to ascertain their true motives... "Did she like me so that she could get this beautiful tropical vacation out of it, or was she serious about me?"
