I was almost scammed

I met a Russian woman online and she told me I had to send money to help her. She asked for $ 4500.00 for her stay on a 90 day visa. This did not seem right to me. She said the money was to show customs that she has money, so I look up both customs in Russia and in the United States and there was nothing in there like that. The funny part was Russian don't want them to have more than $3000.00 on them when they depart. So I got lucky and did not get scam good luck you all.

Good that you researched. I'm sure it was a scam. For all practical purposes every time a Russian/Ukrainian woman you met online wants you to send money for any reason it's a scam.
