My name is Ghamai from Afghanistan. I want to visit Russia. What are the visa requirements for Afghan citizens to visit Russia?

Bob's Answer: Hi Ghamai, I did a quick Google search and couldn't find an answer. I Googled "russian visa requirements for afghan citizens" and found several pages, but none of them seemed to indicate that Russia welcomes Afghans :-( But if you do that same Google search, you may find different answers since my results may be filtered by the geographical location of my IP address.

I note on your post that you are from UAE. It looks like UAE citizens/nationals are permitted to enter Russia on several different kinds of visas. See http://dubai.rusembassy.org/rusvisa.html.
