Woman I met online says she needs money to complete Visa payment

After several e-mails a 30 yr. old woman from Syktyvkar asked for money to complete payment for Visa. She says she enlisted the help of a "travel agent" who will accompany her to Moscow for the completion of paperwork and will be flying from Moscow to me. She wants me to send the money through Western Union or Money Gram to her friend also in Syktyvkar and needs the money (she has already paid $2055 and wants $1495 from me, how does this sound to you?

Bob's Comment:

Man, 99.9% of the time a Russian/Ukrainian woman you've never met before in person is asking you to send her money via Western Union/Money Gram for anything - especially when it is for a visa - it's a scam.

And this whole idea that she's already paid $2055, no way. That's just to make you think she has skin in the game.

Visa

No woman is going to travel to meet someone she has never met.

A tourist visa does not cost that much, it is 100% scam.
